The Bishop, clergy and congregations of the Diocese extend their best wishes and prayers for the recovery of Her Majesty at this time of ill-health.
Almighty God, we pray that thy servant our queen Elizabeth, who by thy mercy has undertaken the government of this realm, may receive increase of all the virtues, fit adornment for a queen, enabling her to shun all foul temptations, (overcome her enemies) and, with the royal family, be welcomed at the last by thee, who art the way, the truth and the life: through Christ our Lord. Amen.
