On the Feast of St Matthew (21st September 2018) the Bishop ordained, sub conditione, The Reverend Andrew Paul Scurr as deacon. The following day, being the Ember Saturday in September (22nd September), the Bishop also ordained him (again sub conditione) to the order of priest.
Fr Scurr, who was ordained in the Old Roman Catholic Church (deaconed 2nd February 2013 and priested 21st September 2013) and was received into the ACC on 26th August this year, was licensed as Assistant Curate of St Augustine’s Church, Painters Forstal, Kent. He will have special responsibility for caring for our Rochester Church.
