Bishop Mead visited the Church of Our Lady of Walsingham and St Francis of Assisi, to licence and induct the Parish Priest, The Very Revd Raymond Thompson, as Dean of the Southern Deanery of the Diocese of the United Kingdom. The Church was packed to full capacity as members, friends and Father Thompson’s family gathered to celebrate with him on this special day. The Bishop celebrated the Mass and preached and afterwards refreshments were shared among those present.
