This year Bishop Damien Mead has announced that the theme for the XXXIV Diocesan Synod will be one of renewal of the dedication of the Diocese to the Blessed Virgin Mary’s patronage under her title of Our Lady of Walsingham.The Synod will be held on Saturday 9th May 2026 at the Cathedral Church of St Augustine of Canterbury, Painters Forstal, Kent ME13 0DU beginning with a Pontifical High Mass at 11am.
