By order of the Bishop Ordinary,  Diocese of the United Kingdom, Anglican Catholic Church.

Whereas, The Rev’d Mark Morgan, a priest of the Diocese of the United Kingdom of the Original Province of the Anglican Catholic Church, was tried by the Diocesan Consistory Court of the Ordinary on 16 November 2025 at St Augustine’s Church in Painters Forstal, Kent, following a thorough investigation of a corroborated allegation of contravention and breach of Canon §10.1.01 of the Canons of this Church through criminal, immoral, dishonourable, or disorderly conduct of evil report or giving cause for scandal, and was found guilty by the said Court of all those charges;

The majority of the members of the Court sentenced the said Mark Morgan to the penalty of Degradation from Holy Order under Canon  § 10.4 of the aforesaid Canons, to be preceded by Deposition from Holy Orders with immediate effect. The Right Reverend Damien Mead, Bishop Ordinary of the Diocese of the United Kingdom, issued a Writ of Deposition on that same day, and duly delivered to Mr Morgan, revoking all authority, rights, privileges and responsibilities; spiritual, sacramental and temporal, committed to Mark Morgan by virtue of his ordination to the sacred priesthood.

And confirming that this will be followed by the Degradation of Mark Morgan from Holy Orders, whereby he will be permanently returned to the ranks of the laity, on 1st January 2026, in accordance with provision of Canon  §10.4.01

And whereas Mark Morgan has not given notice of an appeal of either the finding of guilt or of the penalty of Deposition or Degradation within the time permitted for such appeals under the standing Procedures of the Courts of the Anglican Catholic Church or for appeals in analogous cases in the secular laws of England; the verdict, judgment and sentence hereby stand.

The Right Reverend Damien Mead,
Bishop Ordinary of the Diocese of the United Kingdom, Anglican Catholic Church.
