On Sunday 17th November 2024, Bishop Damien visited St Osmund’s, Dudley. The Bishop celebrated a High Mass assisted by Fr Mark Morgan, as deacon, and Fr Warwick Jaundrill, as Subdeacon. He was pleased to be able to confer on Fr Jaundrill, who joined the ACC sometime ago from the Church in Wales, with his PTO (Permission to Officiate). This little congregation is in need of a financial boost to enable them to continue to use their worship space, Fr Morgan has an ongoing GoFundMe appeal which I heartily recommend. Every little helps. https://gofund.me/2aa9e095
The Previous day, Saturday 16th, the bishop presided at an investiture for the Order of Templar Knights Albion, a non-Masonic, Fraternal, Philanthropic and Chivalric Christian Order of which he is spiritual protector. Their numbers are growing and on Saturday their ranks increased by 7 new knights.
