On Saturday 4th May 2024, being the Feast of St Monica, at the opening Mass of the XXXII Synod of the Diocese of the United Kingdom, at the Pro-Cathedral Church of St Augustine of Canterbury, Painters Forstal, Kent, The Right Reverend Damien Mead received Nicola Naomi Thompson into the full communion of the ACC and Confirmed Ben Nolan, Diane Laura Smith and Michael George Smith. During the Synod Meeting Bishop Mead presented his 2024 Bishop’s Award for exemplary Lay service to the ACC and Diocese to Mr Ronald Holme.
