The Bishop has received a letter informing him that, effective from 28th January 2024, Canon Charles Johnson and the congregation of St Alban the Martyr, Salford, Greater Manchester, have resigned and withdrawn from membership of the Diocese and the Anglican Catholic Church.
This was followed on 16th February by the resignation of The Rev J. Gareth Parry and the Revd Ron Evans, and the withdrawal from membership of the Diocese and Anglican Catholic Church of the Mission of the Good Shepherd & St Tudwal / Cenhadaeth Y Bugail Da a Sant Tudwal (Conwy N Wales).
Commenting on the departure to pastures new Bishop Mead expressed his regret, but wished the clergy and congregations well, and prayed they would find a safe and happy home elsewhere.
