On Remembrance Sunday, 11th November 2018, the Pro-Cathedral Parish Church of St Augustine of Canterbury, Painters Forstal, Kent, held its annual act of remembrance of the fallen.
After the morning service the congregation processed and assembled outside to bless and dedicate a memorial bench installed on the forecourt of the Church. One of the youngest members of the parish, Miss Jodie Hall, carried a Wreath of Poppies commemorating all those who died during World War I, on this the centenary of the end of the conflict. After the dedication she placed the wreath on the bench.
