It is with great sadness that the Bishop has announced the death today, Saturday 2nd July 2016, of The Right Reverend A. Roger Dawson, retired ACC Bishop of Caracas, Venezuela.
Bishop Dawson had been undergoing treatment for cancer. Upon his retirement Bishop Dawson and his wife Janine retired to Shepton Mallet, Somerset. Whereupon he immersed himself in his woodworking hobby, making furniture and all manner of things to a high standard in his professionally equipped workshop. Bishop Dawson was a co-consecrator of Bishop Mead in 2008.
The funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
Please pray for Janine and their family and for the repose of the soul of Bishop Dawson.
