On Trinity IV, Sunday 19thJune 2016, the Bishop celebrated Mass and
preached at The Mission of Our Lady and St Edward, Bolton, Greater Manchester. The Mission meets, by kind permission, as a community group, in the Sanctuary of All Souls Church in Bolton. The Church was invested in the Churches Conservation Trust after its closure in 1984 and following a multi-million pound refurbishment programme reopened as a Community Resource centre.
After the service the Bishop presented Alison Pollitt, who was received into the ACC during the Missions recent pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, with a membership certificate and a copy of Archbishop Haverlands book “Anglican Catholic Faith & Practice”. Afterwards the congregation had splendid cake with coffee.
