On Saturday 25th July 2015 Bishop Damien Mead, Chairman of the Kent Branch of the Constitutional Monarchy Association, hosted his annual Garden Party in honour of Her Majesty the Queen. CMA members, family, friends and ACC Church Members gathered for entertainment and refreshments (which included a splendid ‘Royal’ cake) culminating in a patriotic sing-song.
The bell of Bishop Meads Chapel (reported in the previous news item) was rung for the first time to signify to guests throughout the gardens that food was being served.
