On Saturday 15th September 2012 the Bishop visited the Mission of Our Lady & St Edward, meeting at the Iron Church, Bolton, Lancashire to celebrate Mass, preach and to bless and rededicate the World War I & II memorials recently transfered from the main body of the Church (which is now used as a furniture and clothing store) to the ACC Chapel inside the building.
The next day, Sunday 16th September, being the Feast of St Ninian. The Bishop visited St Ninian’s Church, Baxtergate, North Yorkshire to celebrate the Patronal Festival Mass and preach and also to bless a new stained glass window dedicated to the Hunter Family which has been installed above the Chancel Arch.
