During the Paschal Vigil Service on Holy Saturday 3rd April 2010 at St Augustine’s Church, Canterbury, Bishop Damien Mead Baptised his father, Mr Laurence Colin Mead.
On Easter Day, Sunday 4th April 2010, before Morning Mass at the same Church the Bishop received into the full communion of the Anglican Catholic Church his mother, Mrs Margaret Alice Mead, from the Church of England.
He also conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation on Mr Richard James Mulholland, Miss Jennifer Mary Rigden and Mr Laurence Colin Mead.
It was good to welcome family members of those Confirmed and other guests for the service including Mr & Mrs Michael Otto who are ACC Members from the USA.
