Canterbury City Council have granted the necessary Change of Use permission to the Mission of St Augustine of Canterbury, for the congregations new church home in Canterbury city centre. The former Non Conformist Church building which has for the past 20 years been used for retail uses is returning to use as a Place of Worship. Fr Mead, the Priest in charge, hopes that the first service in the Church will take place in March and then continue every Sunday thereafter. Until then worship continues on the 1st and 3rd Sundays monthly at Canterbury’s Cemetery Chapel. Thanks is expressed to all those who are helping to get the Church ready.
