On Sunday 8th June 2003 Fr Damien Mead celebrated his last Mass as Priest in Charge of Our Lady of Walsingham and St Francis of Assisi, Rochester. Having Founded the Mission in 1993, originally as an Old Catholic Mission and then after a stint in the TTAC (Traditional Anglican Communion) the Mission joined the ACC in 1999. After the service he presented the Parish with a written and photographic record of the past 10 years. He continues as Diocesan Dean and as Priest in Charge of St Nicholas, Lydd, Kent. The congregation presented him with a framed certificate as a thank you present.
