On Saturday 21st April 2001 Archbishop John T Cahoon Jnr celebrated Mass and ordained Raymond Alan Malcolm Thompson to the Order of Deacon and ordained sub conditione Father Desmond Spackman.
The Synod Mass was celebrated in the Royal Dockyard Church, Chatham and the Synod meeting continued in the Admiral Conference Room in the Dockyard buildings.
During Lunch Archbishop Cahoon cut a special 10th Anniversary Cake.
