"As Bishop of the Diocese of the United Kingdom, I warmly welcome you to our Diocesan Web Site."

As you explore these pages you will discover the Missions and Parishes in this Diocese, together with links to the wider communion to which we belong, The Anglican Catholic Church (Original Province).

Please do not hesitate to contact me, (via the Contact button on the right hand side of this page) or perhaps your nearest ACC Parish or Mission if you require further information.

The Anglican Catholic Church is part of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Please note: we are not 'Roman' Catholic nor part of the 'Anglican Communion'. Recently there has been much in the media about Rome's Offer to receive Former Anglicans into the Roman Catholic Church. Please click on the link below to read the ACC's Response to this offer.

Recent developments in the Church of England have caused considerable concern to many Anglicans both within and without that Church. I would like to invite all who wish to remain faithful Anglicans to consider the options and to read my invitation to consider joining the Anglican Catholic Church. The text of this invitation may be read in the following .pdf document.

On the resources page you will find information about membership. If you are a man seeking to offer yourself for ministry in the Church you will also find useful information on that page.

Perhaps you are a 'traditional' Anglican or indeed a traditionally inclined Christian of another tradition, disturbed by changes and developments in the modern Church. We welcome people of good will to worship with us and encourage you to consider joining us in our work and witness.

With every blessing,

The Right Reverend Damien Mead

Bishop Ordinary

Bishop Mead was consecrated as a Bishop in the Church of God on Saturday 20th September 2008, below there is a short clip of his Consecration service.
