"As Bishop of the Diocese of the United Kingdom, I warmly welcome you to our Diocesan Web Site."

As you explore these pages you will discover the Missions and Parishes in this Diocese, together with links to the wider communion to which we belong, The Anglican Catholic Church (Original Province).

Please do not hesitate to contact me, (via the Contact button on the right hand side of this page) or perhaps your nearest ACC Parish or Mission if you require further information.

The Anglican Catholic Church is part of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are not 'Roman' Catholic nor part of the 'Anglican Communion'.

We were formed internationally in 1978, and established in the United Kingdom in 1992, by faithful, traditional Anglican lay people and clergy concerned at changes and innovations occuring within the Anglican Church.

We practice and uphold the historic Catholic Faith, with Apostolic Order, Orthodox Worship, and Evangelical Witness.

We are currently smaller in the UK than we would like, but we are committed to our faith and its practice.

Of course we do not have to be small ! We do not have to lack the resources that we do!

You may have seen the posters outside some Churches that could well speak for us in the ACC in this Diocese ...

"CH__CH .. Whats missing? ... U R !"

On the resources page you will find information about membership. If you are a man seeking to offer yourself for ministry in the Church you will also find useful information on that page.

Perhaps you are a 'traditional' Anglican or indeed a traditionally inclined Christian of another tradition, disturbed by changes and developments in the modern Church. We welcome people of good will to worship with us and encourage you to consider joining us in our work and witness.

With every blessing,

The Right Reverend Damien Mead

Bishop Ordinary
