Memorial Bench Blessed

On Remembrance Sunday, 11th November 2018, the Pro-Cathedral Parish Church of St Augustine of Canterbury, Painters Forstal, Kent, held its annual act of remembrance of the fallen.
After the morning service the congregation processed and assembled outside to bless and dedicate a memorial bench installed on the forecourt of the Church. One of the youngest members of the parish, Miss Jodie Hall, carried a Wreath of Poppies commemorating all those who died during World War I, on this the centenary of the end of the conflict. After the dedication she placed the wreath on the bench.

10th Anniversary Of Consecration

On 15th September 2018 the Diocese celebrated with our Bishop, The Right Reverend Damien Mead on the occasion of a Pontifical High Mass commemorating the 10th Anniversary of his Consecration as a Bishop. Guest preacher was The Right Reverend Rommie Starks from Indianapolis in the USA. Bishop Starks was our bishop?s chief consecrator in 2008. After the Mass, in the Pro-Cathedral Church of St Augustine of Canterbury, Painters Forstal, Nr Faversham, Kent, the congregation joined the bishops for a buffet, speeches and presentation of gifts.

Renovation and Redecoration is the Order of the Day!

The new Anglican Catholic Church of St Augustine of Canterbury (the former Whitehill Methodist Church & Champion Hall, Painters Forstal, Nr Faversham, Kent) is a hive of activity as the congregation prepare for the relocation to their new home for their services and fellowship in January 2018.
