Anniversary Celebration

A portrait presented to Bishop Mead to celebrate his 10th Anniversary and 50th Birthday

The Right Reverend Damien Mead, later this month (20th September 2018), celebrates the 10th Anniversary of his consecration as a Bishop in the Church of God.

Just before the anniversary there will be a Solemn Pontifical High Mass of thanksgiving at the Pro-Cathedral of St Augustine of Canterbury, Eastling Road, Painters Forstal, Nr Faversham, Kent ME13 0DU.

Bishop Mead will celebrate the Mass at 12 noon on Saturday 15th September. The Venerable Raymond Thompson will deacon, and Fr Andrew Scurr will subdeacon. Dr Michael Bond will be organist and Ms Catherine Begley Cantor.

The Right Reverend Rommie M. Starks, Bishop of the ACC Diocese of the Midwest, USA, will be the preacher. Bishop Starks was the chief consecrator of Bishop Mead in 2008.

After the Mass there will be a hot and cold buffet and reception in the Fyfe-Graham Parish Room.
