Applications are invited for the position of 'Refectory Supervisor'.

Canterbury Church Shop Ltd is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to supervise our new 'Pilgrims Refectory' at Conquest House in Palace Street in Canterbury. Canterbury Church Shop Ltd is an equal opportunity employer. This exciting opportunity for 'Refectory Supervisor' is a new role within the business and is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop and implement the processes and systems required in a busy high street tea room / cafe.

The successful candidate has experience of:
• Understanding, implementing and adhering to all safety procedures relating to fire and security
• Managing, preparing and implementing the staff rota system
• Ordering and reordering of food and beverage stock items
• Managing and implementing stock rotation and control systems
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and conduct
• Adhering to hygiene and dress code requirements

The Successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate:
• 3 years’ experience of stock rotation and management systems
• 3 years’ experience of coffee shop or tea room environments
• 3 years’ experience of working with the public
• Knowledge of till systems and card payment systems
• Be in sympathy with the general aims of the company in 'Celebrating Canterbury's Christian Heritage'
In return we will provide an excellent salary scale of between £15,000 and £18,000
The role is full time over 37.5 hours a week.
