On Saturday 24th April 2004 family and friends gathered at St Alban’s Church, Salford, Greater Manchester, to celebrate the Confirmation of Isabella Ighodaro by the Rt Revd Rommie Michael Starks, Episcopal Visitor to the Diocese of the United Kingdom. Father Mead, the Vicar General, and Father Charles Johnson, the Priest-in-charge at St Alban’s assisted the Bishop and Father Jim Petty presented the candidate. Miss Ighodaro who is 8 years old has the distinction of being the first ACC member ‘born and bred’ within the Diocese of the United Kingdom.
