Server Admitted: Before Mass on Advent Sunday 2007, The Very Revd Damien Mead, Parish Priest of St Augustine's Church, Canterbury, Kent, admitted Mr Roy Hipkiss as Altar Server. Roy has been a member of the ACC since 1998 and a founding member of St Augustine's. As a Senior Practitioner Social Worker, he also serves as the Diocesan Child Protection Officer

New Organ
A Wersi Organ donated to St Augustine's by a Roman Catholic friend of the Parish Miss Barbara Markham in May 2009.

Pic 1: Relic of the Veil of Our Lady
Feast of the Assumption, 15th August 2009, Bishop Mead blessed a new display case within which he placed a Relic of the Veil of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The relic was presented to the parish and originates from Belgium. It is accompanied by a document of authentication dated 1909.

Deacon Received 8th Nov 2010
The Revd Michael Colin Clothier, was received into the full Communion of the ACC on 8th November from the TAC (Traditional Anglican Communion) at the morning Mass at St Augustine's Church, Best Lane, Canterbury. Deacon Clothier has a Mission in Devon.
Ordination 'Sub Conditione' Dec 2009
Sunday 6th December 2009, being the Second Sunday in Advent and a Commemoration of St Nicholas, the Rt Revd Damien Mead conferring Holy Orders sub conditione ordained The Revd Michael Colin Clothier to the diaconate. The Very Revd Raymond Thompson, Dean of the Southern Deanery, presented the candidate and assisted the Bishop.

Redecoration of the Church
In February 2010 the Church was redecorated. In part to make good water damage due to a leaking roof in late 2008 and early 2009. The Sanctuary ceiling has been painted blue.

Canterbury Ordination June 2010
On Saturday 26th June 2010 the Bishop ordained The Revd Michael Colin Clothier to the Sacred Priesthood at St Augustine's Church to serve as Priest in Charge of the Mission of St Benedict, South Molton, Devon. In thios picture the Bishop discusses the Ordination with the Dean of the South, Fr Raymond Thompson, before the service.

On the Third Sunday after Easter (Sunday 15th May) The Bishop received Michael John Sheehan into the Full Communion of the Anglican Catholic Church from the Church of England. The reception took place at St Augustine's Church, Best Lane, Canterbury before the Parish Sung Mass at 11am.

On Whitsunday (12th June 2011) the Bishop received into the full communion of the Anglican Catholic Church, Dr Jonathan Munn, from the Church of England. The reception was held immediately before the Sunday Mass at St Augustine's Church, Canterbury.
New Lay Reader
On Whitsunday (Sunday 12th June 2011) The Bishop licensed Robert William Leone as a Lay Reader for the Parish of St Augustine, Canterbury.
Mr Leone, who is originally from Australia, is a school master in the City of Canterbury and was received into the ACC in May from the Roman Catholic Church. He was previously a Lay Reader in the Anglican Church in Australia.
