Intellectual Property Rights Trade Mark

With the increasing occurrence of the ACC Name and Shield being used in unauthorised ways, including from time to time people falsely claiming to be members and priests of our Church in the UK and Europe. The Bishop and his Council of Advice recently applied to the Intellectual Property Rights Department of the United Kingdom's Patent Office to register our Shield and Name as a Trade Mark. Already around the world the ACC has taken this step - it has taken us 25 years to catch up! Of course this doesn't prevent people still claiming an unauthorised association or indeed to be priests of our Church. If in doubt of someone's identity either contact the Diocesan Office or visit this Diocesan website which lists the Clergy of our Diocese.
