Keeping a Welcome in the Hillside!

The Mission of St Deiniol and St Asaph / Eglwys Genhadol Sant Deiniol ac Asaph has been meeting in the beautiful medieval Chapel of Upton Castle, Cosheston, Pembroke Dock, Pembrokeshire, Wales SA72 4SE (by kind permission of the owners) for some 18 months. The growing congregation, under the guiding hand of Fr Miles Maylor, the Priest in Charge and Lay Reader Harry Bendelow, has been keeping alive the practice of the"Faith once delivered to the Saints".

It is appropriate that we give renewed and special focus on this today. The decision that has been made today (2nd November) by the Electoral College of the Church in Wales to elect The Revd Canon Joanne Pemberthy to become the 129th Bishop of St Davids, (a Welsh diocese which covers the counties of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion) while being pleasing to some, will we know come as a shock and disappointment to many traditionalists in the area. We hope and pray that they will consider making contact with our Mission in Pembrokeshire.
