Patronal Festival, Dartford
On Saturday 10 September the Mission of Our Lady and St Eanswythe celebrated the annual Patronal Festival. The Archdeacon, Fr Raymond Thompson, was the guest celebrant and preacher for the occasion. Dr Roy Fidge (the Warden) and his wife Dulcie had prepared an excellent salad lunch to follow the Mass, and equally excellent conversation accompanied the spread. The Mission meets one Saturday each month in Dartford, usually on the last Saturday of the month (but check with Dr Fidge first as dates sometimes fluctuate) his details are on the website, and anyone is very welcome to come along.
