Of your Charity please pray for the repose of the soul of Stuart Charles Trotter, OBE.
5th October 1937 – 10th July 2016.
Bishop Damien Mead writes: ” Stuart was an ACC Member living in Edinburgh, Scotland. He died on 10th July 2016 but I have only just been informed of his death. I received him into the ACC in April 2012 from the Roman Catholic Church.

I liked Stuart very much indeed. He was an old fashioned gentleman; intelligent, witty and good company.
The obituary mentions his favourite table in Hadrians restaurant in Edinburgh. I was his guest there for a delicious lunch the last time I saw him. It was considerably painful to both of us that the ACC had not been able to establish a Mission north of the border. Although he had been thinking of moving to Lancashire for sometime which would have put him close to our congregations in Bolton and Salford.
He was awarded an OBE for services to journalism in 1997.”
