The Col. Jack Lane Award

L-R Mrs Dulcie Fidge, Dr Roy Fidge, Bishop Alan Kenyon-Hoare, Mrs Jos Kenyon-Hoare.

The highest honour for lay service to the Church in the Original Province of the Anglican Catholic Church is the Col. Jack Lane Memorial Award. During the XX Provincial Synod on Thursday 24th October 2013 in Newport Beach, California, USA, 2 such awards were made. Mrs Jos Kenyon-Hoare, the wife of The Right Revd Alan Kenyon-Hoare, Bishop Ordinary of the Diocese of Southern Africa, received a richly deserved award.
For the Diocese of the United Kingdom our Diocesan Secretary, Dr Roy Fidge, received the award and his wife Dulcie was with the delegates from the DUK to see the Archbishop present it to him.
