For Peace in Syria, the Middle East and throughout the World.

BESTOW upon thy servants, we pray thee, O Lord, the gift of heavenly grace, and grant that the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin may bring deeper peace unto the whole world for whom the birth of her Son was the dawning of salvation. Through the same, our Lord Jesus Christ, thy Son, who livest and reignest with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, throughout all ages. Amen

ALMIGHTY God, from whom all thoughts of truth and peace proceed: Kindle, we pray thee, in the hearts of all men the true love of peace; and guide with thy pure and peaceable wisdom those who take counsel for the nations of the earth; that in tranquillity thy kingdom may go forward, till the earth is filled with the knowledge of thy love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

O GOD, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, our only Saviour, the Prince of Peace: Give us grace seriously to lay to heart the great dangers we are in by our unhappy divisions. Take away all hatred and prejudice, and whatsoever else may hinder us from godly union and concord: that, as there is but one Body, and one Spirit, and one hope of our calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all; so we may henceforth be all of one heart, and of one soul, united in one holy bond of truth and peace, of faith and charity, and may with one mind and one mouth glorify thee; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
