Appointment of Deans

At the Council of Advice Meeting of Saturday 11th October 2008 in Westminster, London, The Right Rev Damien Mead, Bishop Ordinary of the Diocese of the United Kingdom, confirmed his appointment of The Very Rev Charles S. Johnson (Parish Priest, St Alban the Martyr, Salford, Greater Manchester) as Dean of the Northern Deanery and The Very Rev Raymond A. M. Thompson (Parish Priest ,Our Lady of Walsingham & St Francis, Rochester, Kent) as Dean of the Southern Deanery. Both Deans will be formally inducted during the Bishop’s next visit to their respective parishes. In Manchester this will be on Saturday 29th November and in Rochester Saturday 13th December.
