Two New Clergy for the DUK

The new year began in a very positive way when the Diocesan Council of Advice meeting in Westminster on the above date, interviewed two new clergy who have applied to join the DUK. Father Donald Walker, Chairman of the Diocesan Board of Ministry, chaired the interview.

Father Tim Perkins, 44, lives in Manchester and comes to ACC from The Traditional Church of England. Fr Perkins will assist Fr's Johnson and Petty at St Alban's Salford, Manchester as well as continuing with his work at the Provisional Mission of St George, Stretford, South Manchester. Fr Eliyam Madhavan, 36, who joins us from the Anglican Church of India, will assist Fr Spackman at St Albans, Northolt and St Paul's, Harlesden as well as continue his developing minsitry with the Tamil Community in London.

Both clergyman await the regularisation of their orders by the Episcopal Visitor upon his next visit.
